Toolbar disappeared on Internet Explorer

Menu Bar (Tool Bar) Disappear on Internet Explorer.

There are many methods you can display Toolbar always on Internet explorer

Method 1.

Simple Method to turn on Tool bar on IE9

Right click on top page of the Internet Explorer.



Select Menu Bar and magic you can see your toolbar now.

Now Close Internet explorer and start it again aan make sure you can see tool bar.

If the toolbar disappear again then right click again on top of Internet explorer and select lock toolbar.

Method 2

If Method 1 fails then you can use Method 2 to get toolbar on ie9

Step 1: Open Registry Editor (Click start and type regedit)

Step 2: Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft

Step 3: Now Right click on Microsoft -> then select New -> Key

Step 4: Now Name this key as Internet Explorer

Step 5: Right click on the Internet Explorer key you just created -> select New -> select Key

Step 6: Now Name this key Main

Step 7: Right click on Main -> and select New -> and select DWORD (32-bit) Value

Step 8: Name this value as AlwaysShowMenus (Exactly as shown here)

Step 9: Once created then double click on AlwaysShowMenus, type 1 into the value data field instead of 0 as per shown in image. and then click OK



Close Internet Explorer and you can see Toolbar / Menu bar is on Internet explorer

  1. I had problems with my IE toolbar earlier as it got disappeared from the top of my browser, but the second method is quite effective and my toolbar is again visible.
