If you want to setup auto reply or vacation reply or out of office reply on your hotmail account then follow below steps:
Steps to setup auto reply on Hotmail MSN account.
1. Log in to your hotmail account with your email address and password
2. once you are in your Inbox top right hand side you will see settings button. check below image.
3. Click on More Mail Settings
4. Click on Sending automated vacation replies.
5. Click on Send vacation reply and then type your personalised message.
